Visiting Toledo

Dear Mom, Dad, and Sam: 

[Week of September 5-11] 

Monday - Today we went to Toledo for our P-day. It was fun to go back and see this amazing city. It's really cool to see the architecture. We visited with some members there that Elder Pulotu knows and they gave us food. We also ate at Burger King for lunch. Then at 7 we ate empanadas with Hermana Carmen. And, at 8:30 we ate a massive meal with Aida that neither of us could finish! Haha! We had a lot of food today.

Tuesday - Today was a pretty good day. We went to the hospital to ask if there was any opportunity to serve there. There wasn't, but at least we felt like they know we are here to help now.We had ping pong again and there was more people this time. We hope that we can help grow this activity to something that becomes a great missionary activity.

Wednesday - Today was a day full of contacting. We also taught a lesson to Paola in the morning and after that we had district meeting which I would say went really well! Haha! We went to Brunete to eat with Jhon Sanchez and his family. We had really good "Lasagna"! Then we went back home and had English class. 

District Meeting Plans

Thursday - Today we met with Paola again in the morning. She's a menos activo but she loves meeting with us. Today we had intercambio [exchanges] a with the zone leaders in Mostoles. I went with Elder Weiss who is from Switzerland. It was really fun. He was actually in the office when I was going home so it was cool to be able to talk to him again and see how things were. 

Friday - Today was a good day. We returned from our intercambios. We had English class. Afterwards because today was Hermana Duffin's birthday we had a party at Edison's house. She turned 23 but we like to mess with her and call her a grandma because she is older than us. For her presents we got her a cane and a apron that says home is where the heart is. Haha! It was fun!

Saturday - Today was a great day! We played Futbol in the morning. Then we went to visit Romeo. He's a investigator but we can't really talk about church things a lot because he's working while we visit. Then we had a branch noche de hogar where we played volleyball and we we taught about good things. I really love the branch here. 

Sunday - Today we went to church. My companion spoke and totally rocked it! Then after church we ate with the Branch president and his family -- Spaniard food that was really incredible. Then we contacted and did pass-bys the rest of the day. We're really trying to find new people. 

Monday - Today for P-day we just chilled in Alcorcon. It was a pretty boring p-day. But it's also nice to just relax and not have any plans. 

....Tomorrow is zone conference. That's good to hear about UT and Centennial. At least the BYU game was relatively close.
